Dimen Hama Abdulla

Kurdish-Swedish playwright and artist. She made her debut in 2014 with the play “På alla fyra” (On All Fours) and has since been considered one of the most interesting and promising playwrights in Sweden. She is the author of plays such as “Revolution”, “NomNomNom” and “X” (in collaboration with Erik Uddenberg and Farnaz Arbabi, among others). She studied at the Film, Radio, Television and Theatre School and at the Royal Institute of the Arts. After graduating, she wrote plays for the most important Swedish cultural institutions, such as the Royal Dramatic Theatre, Stockholm City Theatre, Unga Klara and Ung Scen/Öst. In 2015, she was an artistic resident at Radio Sweden Drama and currently combines her playwriting with her work as a dramaturge at Regionteater Väst.
