Erik Uddenberg

He is a journalist, but has worked as a playwright since 1996. He first came into contact with theatre while studying at the Stockholm Drama Institute. Right after graduating in 1997, he was hired as a playwright at Unga Klara, where many of his plays were performed. By 2013, he had written about 25 plays, also for other theatres. His most famous works include “Rädda oss från eldarna”, “Fadermordet”, “Flickan, mamman och soporna” (based on the book by Suzanne Osten), “Tal till Nationen”, “Brevet från N.N.”, “China”, “Rösterna i Shangri-La”, “Kabaret Underordning”, “Uppfostrarna och De Ouppfostringsbara”, De jag egentligen är” and “Tillsammans är vi David”.
