Stefan Åkesson

After completing his studies at Dramatiska Institutet, he co-led the performance group Poste Restante, which performed at the Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw and at the Salzburg Festival, among others. From 2009 to 2024, he was associated with Backa Teatern, where he worked on the projects Gangs of Gothenburg, 4018 dagar, Lille Kung Mattias and Carmen. As a playwright, he has adapted ”Glängtan” and ”Vad vi pratar om när vi pratar om ekonomi” for Backa Teater.
