Zoë is Executive Director and joint CEO of Oily Cart, having joined the company in 2019 alongside Artistic Director Ellie Griffiths. She has 17 years’ executive experience in arts management, focusing on theatre created with and for children and young people, in particular those who have the least access. Her experience spans 50+ shows, from national tours and international co-productions, to shows on school buses and in hydrotherapy pools. She oversaw the successful transition of Greenwich & Lewisham Young People’s Theatre to the Tramshed, and co-led the rebrand of Boundless Theatre. She has coordinated large-scale international projects through Creative Europe and Erasmus+, and was previously a script-reader for the Intitut Français de Rouyaume-Uni. As a neurodivergent individual and mother of an AuDHD child, she is a passionate advocate for ethical, accessible and inclusive working practices.
