Description
The famous fairy tale about childlike bravery in an original rendition.
Duration: 60 min
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was bored at home alone. She missed her always-busy mom and longed to visit her grandmother. She wanted to go on an adventure…
We invite you to a timeless tale, retold, about the need for independence and the first attempt at discovering the world on one’s own. A story about how sometimes we like to be scared, but also about the courage we carry within ourselves. The performance immerses us in a musical and mysterious world, where fear and laughter constantly collide, and relationships are expressed through choreography, to the rhythm of live drumming.
Little Red Riding Hood is the fourth production by Anna Smolar, following One-Handed, Pinocchio, and Cinderella, based on a text by contemporary French playwright and director Joël Pommerat.
What are you afraid of?
But really, in real life, what scares you?
Now imagine looking it straight in the eye,
It has a shape,
It even makes sounds,
Maybe it talks to you.
What does it say?
And what do you say?
Do you see the red color?
Where is it?
And who is the wolf? What kind of wolf is it? Who really plays the role of the wolf?
Show in Polish with English translation.
